Position: Tight End/Defensive End/Linebacker
Size and speed: Clark is 6-foot-3 and weighs 222 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds and possesses a 33-inch vertical leap.
Statistics: As a junior, he was primarily used as a blocker at tight end, but recorded 60 tackles and eight sacks on the defensive side of the ball.
Favorite Schools: Georgia, Florida State, LSU.
Skinny: Clark is a versatile athlete with the physical tools to play a number of positions at the next level.
“I like playing tight end,” he said. “I’m expecting to catch a lot more passes this season, so I’m looking forward to that. But some people say I’m better for defense. I’m going to play some defensive end and defensive tackle this season. I’m a little undersized there, but I use my speed and strength to my advantage.”
Teams taking early notice in Clark’s ability include Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State and Nebraska.
“But Georgia’s always been my favorite team,” he said. “I’m hoping to get recruited by them. I’ve always followed their program. I like the campus and everything they’ve got going on there. I also like Florida State and LSU.”
Clark plans to attend the Down & Dirty Camp in Florida and hopes to camp at Florida State and South Carolina this summer.
