Florida State lands athletic defensive lineman

Florida State wants to keep getting bigger and more athletic up front. They took a step in the right direction tonight as they received a verbal commitment from Nile Lawrence-Stample. Lawrence-Stample just committed to the Seminoles a few moments ago.
"I am definitely a Florida State Seminole," Lawrence-Stample said. "I committed about 15 minutes ago. I love the school and it's a place where I feel very at home. I really like the coaching staff, environment and the hospitality."

Lawrence-Stample attended the FSU junior day last weekend. He saw enough to go ahead and make his decision.
Lawrence-Stample, 6-1.5 and 299 pounds, will play defensive tackle for FSU. For Nova High School in south Florida, he played nose guard, defensive end and middle linebacker last season at 262 pounds.
"The best thing you can say about my game is that I am quick and I am strong. For a big guy I can move.
"I love the new staff at Florida State. I will play with the best players in the nation so we will all be very easy to coach. That staff is great from what I have seen so far."
Lawrence-Stample bench presses 405 and power cleans 300. He recently ran a laser timed 4.9 forty at an UnderArmour Combine.
