Florida star thinking Big Ten

Sarasota, Fla., defensive end Walter Dublin is one of the top defensive line prospects in the Sunshine State. So it's not surprising he has plenty of scholarship offers.
"I have close to 20 scholarship offers," Dublin said. "Ohio State, Rutgers, and Minnesota were the last three to offer me.

"So far about 15 of them are in writing.
"Right now Nebraska is my No. 1 choice. So far they've shown the most interest.
"Behind them is Ohio State, then Minnesota, then Clemson.
"I'm trying to go out-of-state. I've been in Florida my whole life. I'm looking to explore new places.
"I hope to start setting up my official visits in July or August. So far the two definites are Nebraska and Ohio State.
Who else is Dublin considering?
"Iowa State, they offered. I'm kind of hoping for an offer from Michigan, but that hasn't come yet. And there's a couple others."
The 6-foot-3, 235 pound Dublin made 84 tackles including 14 sacks during his junior season. He had 22 tackles for losses and intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown.
Dublin has a 2.7 GPA and has passed the SAT. He bench presses 335 pounds and squats over 500.
