Florida sleeper has offers

Plantation (Fla.) safety Jarrell Drane has emerged as a prospect to watch from the state of Florida.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder currently holds several scholarship offers, including one from a Pac-10 program, and has a top three.

"Right now, I like Arizona State, Memphis and Louisiana-Lafayette," Drane said. "Arizona State offered. Louisiana-Lafayette, Florida International and Florida Atlantic did.
"I like Louisiana-Lafayette because one of my former teammates, Terrell Fenton, a former teammate of mine played there," he said.
The likelihood of Drane making an early decision isn't high.
"I'm going to wait and decide after the season," he said.
Drane had 85 tackles and an interception last season. He currently is working on several aspects of his game getting ready for next year.
"I'd like to put on a little more weight and work on my speed and strength," he said.
