Florida safety takes CSU trip

Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay two-star safety Michael Johnson took his first official visit of the recruiting process to Colorado State this past weekend. The 5-foot-10, 203-pounder said he really enjoyed his time in Ft. Collins.
"I saw a lot of good things," he said. "I loved the landscape. The coaches are good and the players made me feel at home. We ate like five or six times a day. I think I gained about 10 pounds from the trip."

Johnson said he got to spend some time talking to CSU coach Sonny Lubbick. The talk centered around his plans for the future.
"He wanted to know what I was going to do over the next few weeks," Johnson said. "I told him I appreciate the offer, but I want to make sure I'm making the right decision."
Johnson said he's talking with Liberty and Cal about official visits.
