Florida safety ready for Miami trip
Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln safety Pat Watkins is looking forward to his trip to South Florida this weekend.
"I'm heading off to Miami this weekend," Watkins said. "The coaches tell me that once I see it for myself, then I'm going to be sold. I've been down there once, but this time it will be for real."

What will also be for real are his other two visits - to Southern Cal on Jan. 25 and Georgia on Feb. 1.
"I'm just waiting right now," Watkins said. "I'm going to look hard at who's on scholarship and who's coming back on the rosters. I don't want to sit around on the bench for too long."
