Florida Sack Man Has Favorite

Miami (Fla.) Jackson standout defensive end Elvis Dumervil had 29 sacks last season and is far off that pace this year. However, the four-star rush end is still one of the top targets in the state of Florida.

“I have offers from Miami and Florida as well as Rutgers, Syracuse, Michigan, Oklahoma and some others,” the 6-foot-1, 240-pounder said. “Miami is my favorite followed by Florida, Michigan, Syracuse and Oklahoma. I think I want to stay in state, but I have two brothers at Syracuse so going north won’t be a problem either.”

Dumervil’s team is 2-5 this season and he’s averaging nearly 10 tackles per game so far this season with more than 10 sacks.
