teams into place for official visits.
Arnold, a member of the Rivals.com
Florida
Top 100 team and the No. 35 running back in the nation, will
visit North Carolina (1/10), Indiana (1/17) and N.C. State (1/24) in the new
year, and is also planning to squeeze in trips to Cincinnati and East
Carolina.
"N.C. State is No. 1 right now," he said. "From what I've seen
and heard of them, that would be a great place for me. They're in a good
location, not too far from home. They're a good up-and-coming team in the
ACC. All the coaches are real nice. I like coach (Chuck) Amato a whole lot.
He gets a lot of respect."
Arnold (6-0, 210, 4.5) had also been considering Oregon earlier in the
recruiting process, and had even slated a December official visit, but
decided the Ducks were too far from home.
He had an in-home visit last week from Indiana running backs coach Gerald
Brown and noted that the other schools on his list had been calling to set
up future visits.
As a senior at Lincoln, Arnold rushed for more than 1,100 yards and
scored 10 touchdowns.
