Florida RB set to visit Tide tomorrow

Demetrius Hart is one of the top running back prospects in the state of Florida. Hart, 5-9 and 188 pounds, plays for Orlando Dr. Phillips High School. Tomorrow, he travels to Alabama to check out the Crimson Tide.
"Alabama has verbally offered me and I am hoping to see a written offer from them real soon," Hart said. "I talked with coach (Nick) Saban yesterday and he said he was eager for me to come up and spend some time with him. I am leaving tomorrow and going up with Ha Ha (Hesean Clinton-Dix) and two of our coaches. Ha Ha really likes them a lot. We are real close and we would like to play college ball together."

According to Hart he currently has 26 scholarship offers. Yesterday he received his latest one from Pitt.
"Yeah, they were the last team to offer me. I don't know too much about them.
"Right now everyone is pretty even. I am looking at playing time and college environment. I don't want to get too far away, not from my family."
Hart has already visited FSU, Florida, USF and Auburn. He will trip to Alabama this weekend and Michigan on April 12th.
Hart has been working hard this off-season. He has added 18 pounds since this time last year.
"My playing weight last year was 170 pounds. I have actually gotten faster. My quickness is the same. It's just God given."
