Florida RB putting up amazing numbers

Ocala (Fla.) Forest running back Roosevelt Ross is a name that many are not familiar with in recruiting circles, but few anywhere in the nation have been more impressive, especially on the stat sheet.
“A lot of schools are starting to call my coach and ask about me and try and get some senior film on me,” Ross said. “Florida Atlantic has been calling and now Tennessee has started calling me. They told me they would be keeping an eye on me this year.”

Ross has put up insane stats this year through three games, brace yourself, he has rushed 73 times for 809 yards and 11 touchdowns.
“I rushed for 322 yards in one game this season,” Ross said. “The next week I had in-grown toe nail and I had to have that taken care of, but I was in a lot of pain when I played on it. So that week I only got 21 carries and 161 yards.”
The 5-foot-10, 196-pound Ross showed out at the Miami NIKE camp when he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds, the shuttle in 4.28 seconds, had a 31-inch vertical jump and did 15 reps on the bench press.
“I would say that the top two schools I am looking at right now are Tennessee and Auburn,” Ross said. “Boston College is another school that has called my coach and they have been sending a lot of mail lately.”
Ross is an intriguing prospect and a one that could move up the rankings fairly quickly if he continues at this rate. Rivals.com hopes to have video of Ross in the next couple of weeks.
