Florida RB picks Boston College

Boston College will receive a verbal commitment from one of the Sunshine State’s top running backs this week.
“Coach O’Brien and coach Swepson are coming down to my house Wednesday to talk to me and my parents again, and I’m going to make it official,” said three-star Orlando (Fla.) Bishop More running back A.J. Brooks.

Brooks (6-0, 192, 4.5) made his official visit to Boston College this past weekend. He had also visited Duke, Maryland and East Carolina. A trip to Wake Forest was scheduled for Jan. 23, but he plans to cancel it now.
“I just felt like Boston College was the best fit for me,” he said. “I had a great trip there. The players showed me a real good time. I spent a lot of time talking with coach Swepson, the running backs coach who recruited me, and coach Bible, the offensive coordinator. They made me feel really wanted and needed there. They told me I reminded them of William Green when he was coming out of high school.
"I also like what they have to offer academically. It's a great school with a good repuation and graduation rates."
As a senior, Brooks rushed for 1,866 yards and 28 touchdowns.
