Davis is getting the proverbial full-court press from the lone school
which has offered him a scholarship to date.
"Boston College came down to see me," he said. "They're pushing pretty hard. I
think they'd really like me to commit, but I'm going to be waiting to see how
everything works out. It's still early."
Davis has also heard from Auburn, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Iowa and Central
Florida in the last two weeks.
"B.C. is still my favorite," he said. "After them, it's Florida State, Florida
and Miami. If I have a big year, I think I'll be hearing more from them."
Davis (6-2, 220, 4.5) is a member of the

team and one of the
top-rated
all-purpose backs in the nation. As a junior, he rushed for more than
400 yards and averaged 8.8 yards per carry while splitting time on a
talent-laden Godby squad. This year, he's being featured more prominently. He
had 166 yards and two touchdowns in the opener and 70 yards last week against
rival Lincoln.
