Florida RB hearing from SEC

Getting the ball rolling seems to be the theme for running back Glenis Thompson who now holds two offers and is looking to make it many more.
Now at 5-foot-9, 203 pounds, the West Palm Beach (Fla.) Lakes back is focusing on what's ahead in his recruitment. Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee, and Kansas State are just a few schools giving off an impression of a possible offer.

"Ole Miss said they like the way I run the ball and they like my speed," Thompson said. "They said they're looking for bigger running backs and I've put on even more weight now. Florida wants my tape to see me play running back this year because I played a lot of fullback last year."
The favorite for Thompson is very clear.
"Yeah, it has to be Florida," Thompson said. "It could be because it's at home but I've been watching them ever since I was little. There are a lot of people from around here that have gone there too."
His trip to the Florida junior day also helped solidify a top contender. However, his next trips are up in the air.
"I don't have the dates set yet, but I'm going to go out there and see Ole Miss and Florida for sure," Thompson said. "I'll take my official visits and probably decide three or four weeks before Signing Day."
"I was going to commit early, but I changed my mind to see what the outcome is on all of this stuff that's been happening lately."
If Thompson had to guess, he would say the Volunteers would be the next school to send an offer his way.
"My coach told me they've been watching me real hard and they're waiting to see what happens during my senior year," he said. "The ball is rolling now."
