Florida RB has national offers
One of the elite running backs in the country next year will be Immokalee's (Fla.) Javarris James. James is an early Rivals.com pre-season hot 100 member and is holding a handful of big time scholarship offers at this time.

James, 6-0, 200 pounds earned 1st team all-state and Student Sports Junior All-American honors this past season after rushing for 1,658 yards and 28 touchdowns. We first saw James at the Nike Camp in Miami a year ago and were very impressed with him during the position and one on one drills. The running back is more quick than fast although he does have good speed and runs hard with enough wiggle to make you miss.
On the recruiting front, James is holding scholarship offers from some serious heavyweights including Miami, Oklahoma, Florida State, Ohio State and Michigan.
"Right now, my top two are Miami and USC," James said. "Miami is the school I grew up liking as a kid, I've always wanted to play there but I'm open to a lot of schools and don't plan on committing early. Oklahoma, Florida and Michigan are the others I would put in my top five right now."
In addition to the schools that have offered, James said he's also hearing from USC, Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Texas, Georgia and Georgia Tech. He plans to camp at Miami, Florida and Florida State and will attend the Nike Camp in Miami in April.
"Location is important to me but I'll leave home if it's the best situation for me," James said. "I plan on taking all my trips before I make my decision."
Academically, James is carrying a 2.6 GPA and will take the SAT later in the year.
