Florida RB has a favorite

Wellington (Fla.) Palm Beach Central running back David Ahola is sitting on one scholarship offer. That program has emerged as the frontrunner to land the speedy South Florida running back.
"I have an offer from Air Force," he said. "That's the only school right now. Indiana, Georgia Southern, Mississippi State, Northwestern and a few other ones are talking to me, but haven't quite offered. No one else is coming on too strong right now."

The Falcons are perched a top his list of favorites at the moment.
"Right now, my leader would probably have to be Air Force," Ahola said. "I like the guarantee that when I leave, that I'd be set for life. They said they might use me as running back and as a slot receiver. That sounds perfectly fine with me."
This weekend, Ahola will be performing at Vanderbilt's prospect camp.
"I'm actually in Tennessee right now for the Vandy senior camp," he said. "They invited me."
Ahola said it could be some time before he makes a final decision.
"I'll probably figure it out in January or February," he said. "Some time like that."
The 5-foot-8, 170-pound Ahola is a high (5.4) two-star rated prospect by Rivals.com.
