Florida RB enjoys SEC visit

Apopka, Fla. running back Alan Abrams took an official visit this past weekend than could change everything and ultimately determine where he plays his college football.
"south Carolina was really great," said the 5-foot-11, 186-pounder. "I was hosted by Aryhel Freeman who is being moved to wideout now and he loves it there. He was cool and all the coaches were very down to earth."

Abrams, who rushed for more than 1,600 yards and 20 scores this past season, thought about committing.
"I had that thought, it was tempting," he said. "They make you feel really comfortable there and it's pretty close to home. I've already been to Purdue and they're still in it although it might be too cold there. I'm visiting Ole Miss this upcoming weekend (Jan. 17) and if I need more it will be either Wake Forest or South Florida."
Abrams likes the fact that USC plays many different running backs and he was impressed with coach Lou Holtz.
"I met him at my house before the visit, but meeting him again was cool," he said. "He and all the coaches were great to me."
