"I'll be there," quarterback Carlton Jackson said when asked if he and teammate Ronnie Wilson were planning to attend the Ohio State-Cincinnati game. "Ronnie and I are going up there for unofficial visits. We come home on Monday."
"I've had a lot of calls. Ohio State, Syracuse, Pitt, UCF, Akron, Florida, they all called."

"Right now I'm looking at Ohio State, North Carolina State, Syracuse, Miami of Ohio, Florida, Akron, Marshall, and Pitt."
"I have three written offers, Akron, UCF, and Syracuse. The rest of the schools verbally offered."
"Ohio State's recruiting me as an athlete/quarterback. I like Ohio State best. I like the program and the coaches and facilities. I liked it when Ronnie and I went to camp up there."
The 6-foot-3 and 190 pound Jackson helped lead Ely to a 14-1 record and a state championship his sophomore year. Ely won 12 of 13 games last season as Jackson threw for 1300 yards and 17 touchdowns. In this seasons opening win over Glades Central, Jackson threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 60 yards.
