Florida QB has options

Naples (Fla.) quarterback Tim Moscato has several options when it comes to picking a college football program to be a part of.
"Eastern Michigan has offered, Eastern Kentucky has offered and Florida Atlantic," Moscato said. "FIU, Western Kentucky are talking to me. UConn, Charleston Southern, Southern Illinois and Holy Cross also have been in touch.

"UConn, that's the big one right now."
The 6-foot-2, 189-pound native of Boston who moved to Florida 12 years ago has yet to make any visits, but knows where he wants to go when he does.
"Most of them have invited me up for a visit, but I haven't had a chance to go yet," he said. "To tell you the truth, I kind of want to go to the Northeast to UCONN or Holy Cross.
"I'm a big Boston College fan, but they said they didn't need a quarterback," Moscato said.
Moscato is looking at other aspects of a school besides location.
"I'm looking at the school's academic program especially in the real estate business. I'd like to stay in the smaller school size which is why Holy Cross and some of those I-AA schools like nice."
Moscato has played well this season, leading Naples to several big victories.
"My season is going great," he said. "We are 6-2 beat (Hollywood, Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna last week. They are pretty stacked with six guys in the Florida top 100 on Rivals.com. We thought we could win and after the first series we said we can beat these guys. We also beat Fort Myers in the second week. We beat 6A Miami Hialeah and 6A Sarasota Riverview. The last game of the season we have Venice."
He has more than 500 yards rushing and has thrown four touchdown passes in his team's run-oriented offense.
Moscato is a two-star rated recruit by Rivals.com.
