Florida QB entertains coaches at home

Pat Carter, the Rivals100.com No. 10 dual-rated quarterback, has been busy entertaining coaches in his home. The 6-foot-2 and 175-pound signal-caller shared with Rivals.com how those visits went.
“Coaches from both Georgia Tech and Purdue have already been by my home,” Carter, who passed for over 300 yards and five touchdowns in the Class 4A playoffs, said. “Pittsburgh is going to meet me at my school on Thursday because of my basketball game. They will come by the house after the game also.”

How did those visits go?
“They went great,” he said. “Georgia Tech brought five coaches by the house. They loaded up. They pretty much told me that I’m the type of quarterback that they are looking for, one that can pass and run. Purdue came by the house (Wednesday). Their head coach has really brought them up to a new level. They told me that there are two quarterbacks on the current roster and that they are looking at me and a quarterback from Kansas.”
Carter will officially visit Purdue (12/6,) Georgia Tech (12/13) and Michigan (1/10). He also will schedule a visit to South Florida and Pittsburgh.
The St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood High School senior is looking for school that will make him feel comfortable.
Carter, who passed for 1,900 yards and 15 touchdowns, will decide on a college around signing day in February.
