The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder has heard from UAB and Southern Mississippi and feels that those two programs are close to offering him a scholarship.
"I just heard from them today," Beasley said. "I think I am close on a couple."
He has an early top four of the Blazers and Golden Eagles, along with South Florida and Central Florida.
Beasley plans to attend junior days at USF and UCF and says that he may head to Birmingham for UAB's junior day. He also plans to attend the NIKE camp at the University of Florida in Gainesville on May 20.
Beasley threw for 20 touchdowns last season. He also is interested in Notre Dame, Clemson and Florida.
