Florida QB becoming a hot prospect

There is a quarterback in Lakeland (Fla.) Senior who is watching his stock rise steadily. Billy Lowe, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound pass-thrower is that prospect that is starting to gather several offers.
Florida Atlantic, Florida International, and Middle Tennessee State have all offered, but Lowe is not going to settle on those just yet. He has favored South Carolina for some time and has been having some productive conversations with the coaching staff there.

"Yeah, they're still the top school," Lowe said. "I mean it's Steve Spurrier. He's the man and he can really coach. I've talked with coach John Hunt quite a bit and they keep saying they like what they see."
It appears Lowe has his first official visit tentatively set up for Jan. 6.
"I'm headed to Middle Tennessee State then," Lowe said. "They've picked up some good receivers and so they're young and would be there when I am. I could go in there and start really early. I'd get a lot of experience there."
Lowe says he's not planning on waiting until Signing Day to announce where he'll be headed for college. However, he realizes that the longer he waits, the more interest he could cook up from different colleges.
Iowa, Louisville, Colorado, Iowa State, and others have been talking with Lowe as of late. He believes there could be even more out there.
"I figured, already I've got these three offers, but things are really starting to pick up," Lowe said. "I've had like 40 college coaches call me in the last two weeks. I've also just sent out a lot of tape, so more things could be happening soon."
