"I just got back from Michigan State," Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely quarterback Carlton Jackson said. "It went pretty good. I enjoyed myself.
"I liked it. I liked the facilities, the players, the coaches. I liked pretty much everything.
"I've been to Michigan State, Akron, and Tennessee State. I'm going to take one to Kansas State next weekend.
"And I'll probably take one to Utah State or North Carolina State.
"All of them except North Carolina State have offered me.
"I like Akron best. I like the situation I'd be in if I went there. Michigan State is second."
The 6-foot-3 and 190 pound Jackson is the No. 50 'athlete' prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings.
