Florida punter decides

The rumor going around was that Winter Park (Fla.) Trinity Prep punter Eric Wilbur announced his college decision during his football game last Friday. So where is he going to spend the next four years?
"I'm going to Florida," Wilbur said. "They announced it on the speakers after the first quarter of my homecoming game."

Wilbur, a versatile athlete who kicks, punts, and plays safety for Trinity Prep, could see action right away at punter for UF. He chose the Gators over Miami and UCF. He had offers from all.
"First of all basically it was down to Florida and Miami," Wilbur said. "I just think Florida is the better fit for me. I'm not used to the whole south Florida scene and I'm not sure I want to spend the next four years there. It's a great place to visit I think but it's not just the place for me to live. I've been a Florida kid all my life. My mom went there and I've been going to the games since I've been like three. It's like a dream come true basically."
Wilbur says he is a solid commitment and will not visit any other schools. He has yet to schedule a date for his official visit to Gainesville. Trinity Prep is 5-2 this season and will play for district runner-ups in two weeks.
