Florida on the verge of landing Andrews

Miami (Fla.) Monsignor Pace safety Quinton Andrews seems to already have made up his mind on where he will attend college. He has held off on making a commitment so far, but he appears to be close to making a decision.
"I am taking an official visit to Florida this weekend and I may commit after I come back from there," Andrews said. "I will probably end up at Florida, especially if everything goes well this weekend. I won't commit on my visit probably, I will wait until I get back."

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Andrews runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds, has a 265-pound bench press, does 14 reps on the bench press and has a 30-inch vertical jump.
"I really like the opportunity that Florida presents," Andrews said. "I think that I could go in and play early there. I like everything about the school and I can't wait to visit there. I think that coach Meyer is going to do some great things there."
As a junior he collected nearly 130 tackles, 12 sacks, four interceptions and 13 pass-breakups while guiding the 3-A Spartans to a 12-3 record.
"If I don't go to Florida then it is going to be West Virginia," Andrews said. "It is down to those two, but Florida is the leader right now."
