Florida OLB has all five visits set

St. Petersburg (Fla.) Catholic outside linebacker/safety Carl Teague has helped lead his team to three straight playoff victories. Their reward? The right to face defending champ Pahokee this Friday night led by All-American running back Antone Smith.
“I have narrowed it down to a final five,” Teague said. “I have a visit to Connecticut on December 3, Iowa State on December 10, South Carolina on January 7, Ball State on January 14 and Florida Atlantic on January 28.”

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Teague runs the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds, has a 240-pound bench press and 435-pound squat. Will the coaching change at South Carolina hurt the Gamecocks?
“I talked to one of the assistant coaches at South Carolina and he said that this shouldn’t affect my offer or anything,” Teague said. “It doesn’t really hurt them with me either, they are still about where they were on my list. I don’t have a leader at all, they are all pretty much even.”
Teague has the mixture of size and speed that will allow him to play several positions on the college level, however, most college coaches like his future as an outside linebacker.
