Florida OL taking his time

Three-star Crawfordville (Fla.) Wakulla offensive lineman Jim Tartt has picked up two new scholarship offers and is starting to think about where he’ll take official visits.
“UCF and Iowa State have offered now,” he said. “That makes five with Florida, Florida State and Clemson.”

Asked if a favorite has emerged, Tartt said: “No, not really. Florida, Florida State and Clemson all look good to me right now. They’ve all got good programs and they’re recruiting me pretty hard. I’m not sure when I’ll decide. I really have no idea right now. I guess I’ll just know it when I know it.”
Earlier this season, he made unofficial visits to Florida (FAMU, Tennessee games) and FSU (Miami and Virginia games).
“I’m going to go see Florida State and Florida next (on Nov. 29),” he said. “I want to see how they look against each other. I’ll probably wait for my official visit to see Clemson.”
No dates have been set at this time. They’ll be scheduled when the high school season is complete.
Tartt (6-4, 310, 5.15) is rated the No. 18 guard in the nation by Rivals.com. He’s helped lead Wakulla to a 10-1 record and the second round of the state playoffs.
