Florida OL sets two visits

One of the best-kept secrets in the Sunshine State
is Sarasota Riverview offensive lineman

Steve Rissler.
With offers that include Florida and Georgia and
heavy interest coming from Florida State, Rissler (6-3, 315, 5.2) is
definitely a name to keep an eye on as the recruiting process heads into the
late stages.
"I've set up two official visits," he said. "I'll be
going to USF (South Florida) on Jan. 10 and Florida on Jan. 17. I'll also be
going to Florida State sometime in January. We haven't got that date set up
yet, but they're calling every week, and it sounds like they're getting
ready to offer me."
If the Seminoles deliver that offer, they'd
immediately jump into the driver's seat for Rissler.
"Oh, yeah," he said. "I've grown up watching Florida
State football. They've been my favorite team since I was little."
Until that time, however, Florida and Georgia are in
good position to land his services.
"I've always watched Florida, too," he said. "It's a
great program just like Florida State. You couldn't go wrong with either one
of those. They're definitely my top two.
"One team that's coming on strong is Georgia.
They're calling every week and talking about setting up a visit. They're
going to be losing just about their whole offensive line, so that could be a
good situation there."
Rissler helped lead Riverview to a 7-3 record as a
senior, grading out at 90 percent for the year and recording approximately
30 pancake blocks.
