Florida OL Has Impressive Offers

Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson offensive tackle Donnie Woods is emerging as one of the top prospects in the state of Florida. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound standout already has offers from some of the top programs in the country.
“I have offers Florida State, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan State, North Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia Tech and South Florida right now,” he said. “It’s really starting to pick up.”

Woods, who can play tackle or guard, favors two schools slightly over the rest right now.
“I like North Carolina and Florida State,” he said. “I really like the area where UNC is located and if I leave the state, I don’t want to go too far. FSU needs offensive linemen and they’re always in the hunt for the national title. I also like South Carolina, West Virginia and Florida.”
Woods will camp at North Carolina, West Virginia and possibly Florida State. The big man doesn’t expect to make a decision until after he takes all of his official visits.
