Groveland (Fla.) South Lake offensive guard Josh Guthrie currently holds three scholarship offers and is getting serious attention from several more.
"I've gotten three scholarship offers," he said. "Mississippi State, Middle Tennessee State and Florida International.

"Florida Atlantic also seems very interested. I also like Central Florida."
The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder has only been to one of the schools on his early shortlist.
"I haven't been anywhere yet but UCF," he said. "I went there for a Junior Day."
Guthrie does not have any favorites at the moment.
"I'm pretty much open," he said. "When I take my visits, it will narrow it down for me.
"I'm open to going out-of-state, but not too far. I want to stay in the Southeast."
He plans to make a decision after his senior season and added that Middle Tennessee State and Florida Atlantic currently are recruiting him the hardest.
Guthrie plays tackle for his high school team, but says he could play anywhere on the offensive line in college.
"My strength is my run blocking," he said. "I can really grab a hold of someone and push them down. I am also good at pulling. I've got to work a little on my pass blocking.
Guthrie was an All-Area selection in 2005.
