Florida OG making a splash

Daytona Beach may not be as big as Miami, Jacksonville, Orlando or Tampa, but it still manages to produce some of the nation's top talent every year. Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze offensive guard Jeramy Devane is one of the top players in the area this season.
"I have a written offer from Louisville and Auburn has told my coach that they were going to offer me," Devane said. "I am getting attention from most every school in the South. Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, NC State, North Carolina, Auburn and Ole Miss are probably sending me the most."

Devane is a 6-foot-4, 285-pound brusier, who runs the 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds, he has a 370-pound bench press and 425-pound squat.
"Some of my top schools right now are Louisville, Florida, Florida State, Central Florida and Auburn," Devane said. "My top priority is staying close to home. I really want for my dad to be able to come and see me play and that is going to be tough if I go far from home."
Devane plans to attend the NIKE camp at Florida State on May1 and will also likely attend a summer camp at Florida over the summer.
"I grew up watching the Gators and going to their games, so I guess you could say I am a Florida fan," Devane said. "I am going to wait a little while and probably take some of my official visits before I make any kind of decision or anything."
Devane is being recruited as an offensive guard and carries a 3.1 GPA, but has not yet taken the SAT.
