Since the calendar turned to 2018, Class of 2020 Deerfield Beach, Fla. wide receiver Aydin Henningham has been collecting offers from major programs, with schools like Missouri, South Carolina, N.C. State joining his list. And while he’s flattered by out-of-state options and said he will take his time to build relationships with coaches, it’s clear one program is showing him the most love.

“Florida has been doing a great job keeping in touch,” Henningham said recently at the Miami stop of the Rivals 3-Stripe Camp Series presented by adidas. “It’s really picked up since the new staff came in. They came and offered me right away so I know they’re interested.”

Henningham said he’s familiar with Gainesville having visited before, but he said he’s going to make it a priority to get back on campus soon.

“I went to the camp up there last summer,” Henningham said. “I didn’t get a chance to get back for a game but I want to make sure I do that this year. I know we’re going back in the summer but the coaches want to see me up there soon so I’m going to try to make it happen.”

As far as his first impressions of the new Gators staff? So far so good.

“They’re doing a good job,” Henningham said. “They did a nice job finishing off the recruiting class and I think they’re off to a good start.”

Florida won’t be the only school Henningham visits this offseason as he said he’s hoping to visit Miami, Georgia and Alabama, among others.
