Florida lineman likes the Dawgs

Groveland (Fla.) South Lake offensive lineman Carlton Medder has already visited N.C. State and Florida State, so was his visit to Georgia this weekend better than those two?
"I think it was," he said. "I liked it better up in Athens."

So what was it about UGA that made him say it was better?
"I think it was just the interaction that I had with the players," Medder, a three-star prospect that is 6-foot-4 and 327-pounds, said. "That's a big thing for me. I want to be with guys I can hang out with."
Medder said he's still up in the air, when it comes to a decision. He has a Florida visit set up for January 10 and Tennessee is set for January 17.
Medder was hosted on the visit this weekend at UGA by Randall Swoopes and he also hung out with Dawg quarterback D.J. Shockley.
