Florida lineman back on the market

LAKELAND, Fla.- Alachua (Fla.) Santa Fe two-way line prospect Linval Joseph is back on the market after parting ways with Florida.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder confirmed that he was no longer a part of the Gators' recruiting class in a Thursday morning interview with Rivals.com following the final practice for the Florida Athletic Coaches Association North-South All-Star Game.

"I'm not committed to Florida anymore," he said. "Recruiting-wise, I haven't sat down and figured it out yet, but I'm probably going to visit Louisville and Auburn."
Joseph did not say why he is no longer committed to the Gators.
"I really don't know what happened," he said.
Joseph originally committed to Florida this summer after considering scholarship offers from LSU and others.
On the football field, Joseph has had an outstanding week playing defensive line.
"I'm learning some new techniques," he said. "I'm going to try them when I get to the next level. Hopefully, we will be successful Friday night.
"I like the event," he said. "It's going pretty good. Things are going pretty fast and I wish I had the chance to do it again."
He has several goals for the game, which kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday at Bryant Stadium in Lakeland.
"I want to get a couple of sacks and a win and finish off this thing like it should be finished off," he said.
Joseph is a mid (5.6) three-star rated prospect. He projects best as an offensive tackle at the next level and is the No. 44 prospect at that position nationally.
