Florida LB with three scholarship offers

Demarious Rancifer is a defensive prospect from Pensacola, Florida. Rancifer, 6-3 and 210 pounds, is an outside linebacker prospect from Pensacola Catholic High School that recorded 96 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, seven sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles last season as a junior.
"My strengths are my size and my strength," Rancifer said. "I need to work on my speed mostly. The game kind of comes naturally to me. I have been playing since I was 7 but I just didn't start playing in high school recently."

2009 was Rancifer's first on the varsity and he started all last season. He has played well enough to earn three college scholarships.
"Louisville, Clemson and South Alabama have all offered me. South Alabama was my first offer while Louisville offered this month and Clemson offered last month. This has been an eye opening experience for me. It's kind of crazy. I went from watching games to now living a dream. It's my dream that is starting to come true."
Rancifer's uncle, Pat Moorer, played linebacker at Florida and is now working for Charlie Strong at Louisville as the strength and conditioning coach.
"I have never followed too many teams but I did follow Florida. My uncle played there and I have become a big Brandon Spikes fan. Right now I am pretty open with everyone right now and have no favorites at this time.
"I really want to check out Clemson. I know they are in the ACC. That's a league I would love to play in. I want to see some schools during the spring like Clemson and Louisville."
