Florida LB takes SEC visit
Crawfordville (Fla.) Wakulla linebacker Sam McGrew took a visit to the SEC this weekend. So how did things go in Lexington?
"Things went really good," McGrew said about his official visit to Kentucky. "There were a bunch of guys committing and the coaches were rolling out the red carpet. I was impressed by how honest they were about turning the program around."

McGrew is now set to go next in January for some visits. He said he's still set to visit Georgia Tech the first weekend in January, followed by a visit with Florida on Jan. 11, Florida State on Jan. 18 and N.C. State on Jan. 25.
"I'm still keeping an open mind about this recruiting stuff," McGrew said. "I have something to compare the other visits to know because I was impressed with what I saw at Kentucky. They're going to turn it around."
