Miami (Fla.) Northwestern linebacker Taurean Charles is one of the top 20 inside linebackers in the country this recruiting year. And while he was once favoring Rutgers in the battle for the 6-foot-3, 230-pound hitter’s services, things are more wide open now.
“I’ve narrowed it down to four schools, with possibly a fifth I’ll look at” he said. “My two favorites are NC State and Auburn with NC State my slight leader. After that I like Rutgers and Oklahoma and I’m looking at a visit to Syracuse as well.”
Charles will be at NC State on December 14th, Auburn on January 11th and Rutgers on January 18th.

“I’d like to take at least four visits,” he said. “A lot will depend on which school I can contribute the most at and where I can play early.”
Charles has 15 sacks so far this season.
