Florida LB has four on top

At the recent NIKE Camp at Miami this past weekend, there wasn't a better prospect, regardless of position, than Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep linebacker Frankie Telfort. The athlete put on quite a show and told us four schools lead the way for his services right now.
Telfort, 5-11, 197 pounds first caught our eye at the NIKE Camp in Miami a year ago. Although just an underclassmen, Telfort was very impressive and then really showed his skills this past weekend.

"He was the top guy there and I really liked him a lot," NIKE Camp lead LB coach Chris Gizzi said. "He's quick, explosive and well rounded in all areas. He showed great catch up speed in the one on ones and has anothe gear when he closes on the ball.
"He's also very smart and has a high football IQ. He takes well to coaching and combined with all his physical gifts, he really has a high upside to him."
Telfort was named LB MVP following the camp and showed why he's among the top 100 prospects in the nation. With offers rolling in from everywhere, the athlete said he has four schools leading his list.
"Florida, USC, Notre Dame and Georgia Tech are my favorites right now," Telfort said. "They have all offered me along with a lot of other schools like LSU, Florida State, Tennessee, Alabama and South Carolina.
"I like LSU too and I'm going to visit there in June. I want to take a few unofficial visits and then take all five of my official visits in the fall. I'm not planning to make an early decision, I want to take time, see all these schools and then commit closer to Signing Day."
