Florida LB has first visit set

Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln’s Jeffrey Williams is a defensive player that loves to hit. The 6-foot-0 and 210 pound inside linebacker is looking hard at several schools and he has one official visit date set up.
Williams, a Rivals.com three-star prospect, will visit South Florida on (1/10). He also will set up official visit dates for Illinois State, UAB and Southern Miss.

He is favoring one team and considering several others.
“The only school I'm favoring right now is South Florida,” Williams, who had approximately 155 tackles in his senior season for one of Florida’s top high school football programs, said. “I really like their coach. I've got a chance to go down there and play my freshman year."
What does Mr. Williams think of the recruiting process?
"I'm kind of scared because you never know I might have last minute offers,” he said. “I'm just hoping for the best right now."
The Tallahassee native is also being recruited by Florida, Syracuse and Clemson with no offers from those programs yet.
He currently carries a 3.0 grade point average, and he’s set to take the ACT this weekend.
Williams and his teammates lost last weekend to Palm Bay in the Class 4A semi-finals game.
