Florida LB getting looks

Linebacker Antwan Davis is just the latest prospect to emerge from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Saint Thomas Aquinas with attention from several major Division I-A programs.
"Recruiting is going real good," Davis said. "I've been getting attention from N.C. State, South Florida, Minnesota, Middle Tennessee State, Western Michigan and Akron.

"My coach hasn't told me who all has offered me yet."
Right now, Davis says that the Gophers have his attention.
"I kind of like Minnesota," he said. "I stay in touch with their linebackers coach Mark Criner. I like N.C. State, too. I like coach Chuck Amato."
Davis plans to explore all of his options before making a decision. In the meantime, he is working hard to get ready for the forthcoming season.
"Right now I am working on speed training," he said. I am working out at the school trying to get my footwork right."
Davis had 24 tackles and five sacks in 2005. He is a two-star rated prospect by Rivals.com
