Florida LB commits to Big Ten school

Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Lake Brantley linebacker Josh Ferguson has made a college decision. Ferguson (6-2, 210) and his father made an official visit to Purdue several weeks ago and he decided not to wait any longer to make his announcement. He's going to be a Boilermaker.
"My dad and I made the trip to Purdue and we were all fascinated with the campus and their academics," Ferguson said. "Really everything they had to offer with the school. I want to major in computer engineering so that's pretty much the best school for that."

Josh feels pretty solid with the commitment and doesn't think he'll be taking a previously scheduled visit to UCF which had been set for January 10th.
"I don't think I'm going to take that. I don't really think my dad thinks they measure up to Purdue at all. I'm pretty definite that I'll stay with Purdue."
Ferguson believes he will play weakside linebacker at Purdue.
