Florida kicker to trip out west

Could one of the nation’s and the Sunshine State’s best place-kickers be coming out west? There is a good possibility that will indeed happen.
One thing for sure is he will be taking at least one trip to a Pac10 team and maybe other trips to a Mountain West and Big XII school.

Who is our mystery guest who has the Golden State on his mind? It is Jay Ottovegio (6-0, 190, 4.7) from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Saint Thomas Aquinas.
Ottovegio is one of the nation’s best place-kicker/punters and he has the stats to prove it. He is 8/11 on field goals with a long of 45 yards, 65 for 75 on touchbacks on kickoffs; he has a 41 yard punting average on 18 punts with ten punts landing inside the 20 yard line.
Ottovegio has the honors you expect him to have. Last season Ottovegio was 1st-team all-state as a place-kicker and he was an all-state punter his sophomore year.
Currently Ottovegio has offers from Stanford, Colorado State, San Diego State, and KSU. He will trip to Stanford on January 10th and he has committed visits to KSU and Colorado State as of right now but the dates are unclear. Ottovegio will set up two more trips at later date.
Louisville, Oklahoma, Marshall, Texas Tech, Illinois, Hawaii, UVA, UNC, and Vanderbilt are recruiting the strong legged kicker from Fort Lauderdale.
