Florida junior has two Big Ten offers

Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood running back Maurice Wells, who signed with Ohio State on Wednesday, was one of the stars of the Florida class of 2005. Wells had plenty of early scholarship offers.
Wells' teammate, Jamar Hornsby will be one of the top prospects in the Sunshine State's class of 2006 and the early offers are already rolling in for Hornsby.

The 6-foot-4 and 195 pound Hornsby has been a varsity starter since his freshman year when he played wide receiver. He played the same position during his sophomore year.
This season Hornsby played strong safety and wide receiver. He intercepted five passes and made close to 80 tackles. On offense Hornsby caught eight touchdown passes.
This super athlete also runs track and averages 10 points and eight rebounds per game in basketball.
Not surprisingly, recruiters are well aware of Hornsby's talent.
"Ohio State and Michigan said they are offering," Hornsby said. "And Florida offered. I think I have more, but I know those three have.
"I'm definitely interested in Ohio State and Florida. Those are a couple top schools on my list. And USC too. I like Florida State.
"I'm going up to Ohio State in the spring. And I'll go down to Florida.
