Florida DT piling up the offers

Sophomore defensive tackle Kendrick Norton of Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian has enjoyed a very successful spring, as he has picked up a number of offers. Now up to almost 20 offers, Norton is hoping to check out a few schools this summer.
"Recruiting has picked up extremely," said Norton, who is 6-foot-2 and 280 pounds. "It all happened in about two weeks."

Now with 16 offers, Norton has picked up recent offers from schools like Penn State, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Auburn, North Carolina, Boston College and Missouri.
"I feel good, but I'm not surprised," said Norton. "My coach told me it would happen so I just kept working and not worrying about it."
Norton also mentioned that schools like Alabama, Florida, Florida State and South Carolina have not offered yet, but they have been showing increased interest during the spring.
Up next for Norton are a few visits, but that is still a work in progress.
"We plan on a road trip this summer, but I don't know where though," he said. "I would like to visit Auburn, North Carolina and Louisville."
Growing up, Norton followed each of these three programs, along with Florida State.
While dealing with his recruiting process, Norton has also made it a point to prepare himself for his junior season.
"I'm working to improve my ability to blow linemen off the ball and my ability to get off blocks, pass rushing, taking on blocks and ball pursuits," said Norton
