Florida DT is busy taking trips

Donnell Livingston, one of Florida’s top defensive tackles, has been busy taking his official visits. Last week he visited Maryland. Rivals.com caught up with him to find out how it went.
“It went good,” Livingston, who had 63 tackles and eight sacks in his senior season, said. “I got a chance to meet with Coach Friedgen, some academic people and some professors. I also got to hang out with a few of the players.”

The Sarasota high school senior said that the highlight of his visit was seeing his name on a jersey and having lunch in the press box.
How would the 6-foot-2 and 290 pounder rate his visit?
"I would rate my Maryland trip right up with the one I took form North Carolina State,” he said. “I could play early at both schools and I like their academics. North Carolina and Maryland are both up and coming programs.”
Livingston, who has already visited North Carolina and Nebraska, will visit Ole Miss (1/10) and North Carolina State (1/17).
At one time Livingston had Florida State as his leader.
“I’m not considering Florida State anymore,” he said. “At Florida State I would have to wait for playing time, plus they are having some problems now.”
