Florida DT Has Plenty Of Offers
Defensive tackle Chris Turner (6'3 265 4.6) from Jacksonville White (FL) is one of the best in the South. Turner made close to 50 tackles including eight sacks last season. He has a 2.7 GPA and scored an 18 on the ACT.
"I haven't narrowed things down yet," Turner said late Sunday night. "Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue, Georgia, LSU, Southern Cal, Nebraska, there's a lot of schools I'm looking at. They all offered me a scholarship. I'll wait till after the season and decide which ones to visit."

As far as the three Big Ten schools on his list go, Turner had these comments.
"I like Ohio State's program. They have a real physical team. A Michigan coach came down here. He was real straight forward about their program. Purdue, they just kind of standout. There's not one thing about them, they just kind of standout. I'll make at least one official visit to a Midwest school."
