Florida DT Has 40+ Offers

Jacksonville (Fla.) Ed White is a school known for producing college talent and this year is no different. While they boast the best tight end in the country in Lonnie Davis on offense, Ed White also has one of the top defensive tackles.
“I have over 40 offers right now and haven’t narrowed things down yet,” said four-star tackle Chris Turner. “I haven’t set up any official visits yet.”

Turner has many schools on his list including Southern California, Florida, Florida State, Michigan State, Michigan, Syracuse, Illinois, Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, Rutgers, UConn, Boston College, South Carolina and Nebraska to name a few.
“I’ll probably start setting up visits at the end of September,” said the 6-foot-3, 260-pound run stuffer. “I think I want to take trips to schools that I can’t do unofficially.”
Does he know of any schools he’s sure to visit?
“Probably Southern Cal, maybe one of the Michigan schools and South Carolina,” he said. “I’d like to see California, the Big 10 is awesome football and South Carolina has Lou Holtz and they seem to be rising in the SEC. I’ll also visit all three Florida schools, but I don’t know if I’ll take official visits to them.”
Turner runs the 40-yard dash in an incredible 4.6 seconds and is quick enough to make the move to defensive end in college.
