Florida DT gets red-carpet treatment

Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin defensive tackle Chris Anderson said he was showed the red-carpet treatment this weekend at Florida State. So did he commit?
"I thought about it," Anderson said. "It is still Florida State and I was blown away by the coaches. They were so cool."

Anderson said he really enjoyed heading over to Bobby Bowden's house for dinner on Saturday.
"That thing was huge," Anderson, who is 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds, said.
"Coach sat me down and told me that they need a guy like me to come in and play right away. That's something I'm going to put in the back of my mind and think about when it comes time to decide."
Anderson said Travis Johnson hosted him on the visit. He's now set to visit Miami next weekend, followed by a visit to South Carolina on Jan. 11 and Michigan State on Jan. 18. He also didn't rule out a visit to Florida, too.
"It's really between Miami and Florida State right now," he said.
