As for his visit to MSU, he said that the Spartans are in the mix for his services.
"I'm pretty much high on all the schools on my list," he said. "(The visit) was great. We walked around campus and got to know the area. I got to spend a lot of time with the coaching staff, but didn't get to meet a lot of the players.
"But, that's ok because I got to spend a lot of time with the coaches."
One of those coaches was Spartans head coach John L. Smith.
"We spent a lot of time together," Blanc said. "He's a friendly, cool coach and is really down to Earth. He's pretty cool."
Blanc also took note of the facilities in East Lansing.
"It's a great campus and it's a huge stadium," Blanc said. "The academic center is top of the line. I've never really seen anything like that before. I loved the football stadium."
Clifton Ryan was Blanc's player host during the official visit.
"He's from Michigan and was real cool and fun," Blanc said. "He was real honest and didn't force me. He did a real good job of explaining everything. He told me to do what I felt was right and not to force anything."
Mike Cox is recruiting Blanc for the Spartans.
This week, Blanc will play host to Arizona State assistant Bill Miller. He visits Auburn next weekend, followed by the Sun Devils (Jan. 20) and the Hurricanes.
