Florida DE will make decision soon

Tranell Morant, in his only second year of organized football, has drawn quite a crowd. The 6-foot-5 and 260 pass-rusher has some big-time programs fighting for his services.
The Miami (Fla.) Braddock high school senior has already officially visited Rutgers, Auburn, Georgia and Florida.

This upcoming weekend, he’ll wrap up his tour of schools with the hometown Miami Hurricanes.
“Last weekend he was at Florida,” Braddock’s Head Coach Frank Rojas said. “From what I hear, he liked the visit a lot. After he makes his visit this weekend, he’ll make a decision between Miami, Florida and Auburn.”
Morant, who has only played organized football for a year and a half, had an excellent senior season. He had 55 tackles and 19 ½ sacks from his defensive end position.
“Tranell hasn’t even scratched the surface in terms of potential,” Rojas said. “He’s pro material all the way. The kid is hungry.”
