Florida DE wants his stock to rise

Tampa (Fla.) Wharton defensive end Dino Cox got his shot at varsity ball in the talent-rich state of Florida towards the end of his sophomore year. This past season he showed his stuff and is now looking for recruitment to pick up.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder has received a few questionnaires from a select group of schools, but would like to hear from some others. Between now and next February, he's looking for interest and even some offers to come his way.

"I'd like to see some stuff from Miami, USF, Florida, Florida State, South Carolina, and Iowa," Cox said. "I'm going to do a couple of camps this summer and I want to make it to Miami for their junior day."
Cox, who describes himself as a hard worker, says that he will earn the college interest that he is looking for. His first full season as a junior has prepared him for finishing off his high school career in a big way.
"There were things that I need to and have worked on," Cox said. "I really finished out strong towards the end of the season last year. Our last four games, I really broke out and then also of course in the playoffs."
Now, the next step is to build upon his early questionnaires and turn that into high amounts of mail.
"I'm striving for my goals right now and I'm always hustling," he said. "I fight for everything I get, so I'm going to go into recruiting with the same attitude."
